Medical Superintendent - MBBS - Hospital (9-20 yrs)
The objective of this role is handle all clinical related issues of the hospital, improving the quality of patient care by ensuring the facilities are well-staffed and finances well-managed.
Desired Profile : MBBS + MBA in Hospital Administration / Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration with minimum 8+ yrs of working experience in hospitality sector. (Multi Specialty Hospitals).
Company : Client of ACH Consultants - A 250 bed multi specialty hospital in Siliguri spread over area of 3.18 acres of land with Suite, Super-deluxe, single & multi-occupancy patient rooms, 5 operating theatres, 30-bed ICU, 22 -bed Neonatal ICU etc
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- To lead, direct, coordinate and supervise the delivery of clinical services in all the operational areas of the hospital
- Responsible for the entire Medical Administration as well as Quality of the hospital.
- To play a pivot role in implementation of quality SOPs & adherence to quality initiatives (NABH, NABL etc.)
- Ensure availability of resources (Equipment, infrastructure and manpower etc.) in coordination with respective department HODs.
- Interaction and assigning duties to immediate subordinate officers and Head of Clinical Departments so as to ensure smooth functioning of the hospital Coordinating with different departmental heads for best medical services, nursing services and other ancillary services to the patients.
- Monitoring the use of diagnostic services, inpatient beds, facilities, and staff to ensure effective use of resources and assess the need for additional staff, equipment, and services.
- Providing overall direction and management for the service, facility, organization or centre.
- Working closely with HODs and senior consultants for departmental operations. Coordination between clinical departments for prompt patient care services.
- Managing the roster / leaves / discipline /postings of Junior/Senior Doctors and paramedical team.
- Managing the availability of doctors for promotional activities and camps.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED :
- Expertise in Hospital Management
- A good understanding of Profit & Loss and Business development in hospitality business.
- Should be able to develop relationship with different HOD's and functional Head
- Relationship at all levels of the relevant departments.
