Job Title:

Medical Superintendent Qualified in (MS) - Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBG) with Fertility Experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Superintendent with a specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBG) and expertise in fertility treatments and will be responsible for overseeing the clinical staff and focus on providing quality patient care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, should possess the ability to train and mentor clinical staff, particularly in the area of fertility treatments.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBG).

- Board certification or equivalent credentials in OBG.

- Additional qualification in fertility medicine or assisted reproductive technology (ART) highly preferred.

- Demonstrated experience in fertility treatments, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of infertility.

- Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting, with demonstrated ability to manage clinical team effectively.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.

- Ability to mentor and train clinical staff effectively.

- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care, professionalism, and ethical conduct.

Fertility experience is mandatory - atleast 10 years, should be able to travel for audit and handholding if required, to other centres.

Responsibilities:

Clinical Oversight

- Provide clinical leadership and guidance in obstetrics, gynecology, and fertility treatments.

- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical best practices.

- Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives as needed

Fertility Expertise

- Utilize expertise in fertility treatments to assess patient needs, develop treatment plans, and monitor outcomes.

- Stay abreast of advancements in fertility medicine and incorporate best practices into clinical protocols.

- Provide guidance and support to clinical staff involved in fertility treatments.

Staff Training and Development:

- Design and deliver training programs for clinical staff, focusing on fertility treatments, best practices, and clinical skills development.

- Mentor senior & junior consultants in fertility treatments.

- Evaluate the performance of clinical staff and provide constructive feedback and coaching as needed.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Foster a collaborative and communicative environment among clinical staff and support personnel.

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

- Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and support personnel conveying relevant information and addressing concerns.
