Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate functional medical physician who focuses on identifying and treating the root causes of disease through a personalized, holistic approach that considers genetics, lifestyle and environmental factors. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in conventional medicine, complemented by training or certification in functional medicine, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Focus on understanding patients- origin, prevention and treatment of complex & chronic diseases.

- Evaluating a patient's comprehensive health history

- Performing physical examinations and diagnostic tests

- Identifying the underlying causes of the patient's illness

- Developing individualized treatment plans based on the patient's needs

- Nutrition and dietary changes

- Lifestyle modifications (sleep, stress, exercise)

- Supplements and nutraceuticals

- Conventional and integrative therapies

- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, autoimmune disorders, hormonal imbalances, and metabolic syndrome

- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

- Staying updated with the latest research and advancements in functional medicine

- Educating and guiding patients on their health and wellness journey.

- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

- Documenting all patient information and interactions as per healthcare regulations

Qualifications:

- Medical degree (MBBS, MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution

- Board certification in Functional Medicine

- Valid medical license to practice

- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a clinical setting

- Excellent understanding of Functional Medicine principles and practices

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Compassionate and empathetic with a strong commitment to patient care

- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
