Job Description

We are looking to hire a Microbiologist with outstanding research and analytical skills.

Roles & Responsibilities : 

- Need to manage the Infection control policy of the hospital and take care of the microbiology department.

- Performing test within TAT as per defined Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

- To analyze the internal and external quality assurance specimens/ samples.

- Performing calibrations and running of controls as per SOP.

- To incorporate result entry of tests performed.

- To ensure daily instrument maintenance.

- To maintain records of all reports.

- Maintain proper storage of specimens/ samples as per SOP.

- Observing laboratory safety precautions in handling clinical specimens and running of tests.

- Critical/abnormal findings to be escalated.

- Supervise and conduct research on various microbiological activities on a regular basis.

- Maintain knowledge of various research methods and perform all manual operations on various supplies.

Perform laboratory analysis on all materials after appropriate sterilization.

- Perform tests on component samples, identify any contamination, conduct an analysis, and initiate corrective measures.

- Accountable for method validation and autoclave validation.

Eligibility :

Qualification : MD in Microbiology

- Preferred candidates who are working or trained from below listed reputed institutes:

- (AIIMS / PGI-Chandigarh, nizam institute-Hyderabad amrita-Kochi, Sri Chitra-Trivandrum, CMC- Vellore, madras med mission-Chennai, institute of med sciences-Chennai, Madras-med college, Narayan hrudalaya-Bangalore, G B Panth-Delhi, Apollo Hospital, jipmer, Kem, Nair, Sion, Hinduja, fortis-all India, Ambani hospital, Gb Panth hosp-Delhi)

- Any Dr who has done at least 3 years of training in the USA/Canada/UK, Western Europe/Australia / Newzealand

- Any Dr from other hospitals/medical colleges but MUST BE A Batch Topper/GOLD MEDALIST.

- Someone who is willing to have a long-term association and open to relocate to Mumbai.
