Midwifery Nurse (2-7 yrs)

Job Description :

During pregnancy, a midwife educates women about what's going on with their bodies and their babies. They discuss hormonal changes, and the midwife examines the mom when necessary and monitors fetal growth through the mom's belly measurements. A midwife teaches her patients pain-management techniques so they are prepared when labor begins. She also explains the stages of labor so the moms feel ready.

When she suspects trouble with the babies or the moms, a midwife refers her patients to an obstetrician for medical intervention. Midwives typically stay with their patients through as much of their labor as possible, offering emotional support as well as advice on how to progress through labor easier.

They often promote movement during labor, such as walking and rocking on a medicine ball to help open the hips. Depending on the midwife's certification level and state laws, some can administer pain medication during labor and perform episiotomies when necessary.

After assisting through delivery often at a birthing center or in the mom's home midwives typically teach the moms the basics of newborn care and breastfeeding. They also continue offering emotional support through the postpartum time.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

1. Age: 21-51 yrs.

2. Qualification: Candidate should be graduate/diploma holder in relevant field.

3. Experience- Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field.

4. Good communication skills (mandatory)

5. Clients should have sufficient funds to sustain in country. Eg: Real Estate Property, Bank Balance Bank Deposits, FD, PPF.

IELTS not mandatory in Hongkong
