Qualifications:

- MA/M.Sc. in Counselling Psychology/ Clinical Psychology

- Strong work competence in Psychological Counselling Skills and Assessments.

- Possess strong analytical skills, to analyse, interpret and review Data.

- Excellent communication.

- Ability to work in and with teams.

- Assertive in defining and executing Therapeutic processes.

- The ability to be persuasive and an effective facilitator.

- Strong negotiating, administration, and time management skills

- Maintain confidentiality

- Flexible to travel

- Additional skills; problem solving, conflict resolution being assertive.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conducting assessments in Learning, Social emotional and behavioural domains and being able to implement the interventions.

- Group facilitation skills, conducting Staff sessions periodically

- Facilitate employee counselling sessions.

- Providing expert advice and direct intervention in the management of critical incidents.

- Design evaluate and administer effective prevention intervention and support programs for individuals, groups and school population.

- Providing support and advice to the team as and when the need arises.

- Providing professional learning for Parents on a range of topics and conducting workshops and small group interventions for students

- Consulting with parents, Lecturers, School administrators and other members of the college community in regard to interventions, services and support for students

- Open to learn and flexibility to improve skills on job.

- Generating reports to make formal recommendations on action to be taken, including formal statements.

- Aptitude in Research, Knowledge in latest trends and practices in research.

- Local travel within a region is a normal feature of the job.
