Job Description
- Ensure Development, implementation, & evaluate the medical practice delivery model in accordance with the goals of hospital / healthcare unit.
- Must have basic knowledge of P&L of a hospital.
- Formulate plans & provide leadership to the Medical Department by ensuring that appropriate structures, systems, competencies and values are developed.
- Managing media relations & PR, assist team in reputation management / branding activities.
- Attend various seminars, conferences, & acting as a spokesperson for spreading positive message.
- Assess, plan, manage & evaluate health programs & initiatives.
- Supervise the functioning of doctors, nurses & paramedics working on specific projects.
- Advise board members, trustees, top management on healthcare initiatives as well as reporting the progress of these projects.
- Direct and guide the preparation of short-term and long- range plans and budgets based on corporate goals and growth objectives; review & analyse activities costs, operations, and forecasting data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.
- Engaged in developing& establishing patient care strategies to sustain customer loyalty by ensuring superior customer satisfaction standards.
- Create & implement a robust pricing mechanism for healthcare services based on extensive market survey.
- Select high-end medical equipment after taking into consideration the requirements of the hospital and conducting cost benefit analysis.
- Ensuring compliance with organizational policies in line with the latest relevant laws (local) and applicable regulations & amendments involving Environmental, Health & Safety.
- Setting-up targets, SOP & SLA, administering & maintaining CTQ (Critical to Quality) / CTP (Critical to Process) targets & planning for the process improvement.
- Provide and managed patient care including examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatments for a diverse patient.
- Independently managed a hospital of 750 beds and an out-patient of around 1000 patients daily as well as administered several technical and non-technical, medical & non-medical and legal aspects of the hospital.
- Ensure efficient operations of the hospital as well as provide superior patient care.
- Spearheading the implementation of clinic's policies, systems and agenda by working closely with the management and interdisciplinary teams.
- Establishing performance-driven culture to personal ownership, lead, develop, coach, and motivate teams in achieving goals profitably.
Skills required :
- MBBS and MD/MS from recognised University with more than 15 years- experience in Medical Administration and Senior Management position.
- Strong logical, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong leadership & team management skills
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
- Open to travelling.
- Versatile, dynamic, curious.
