Optometrist - OD - Medical/Healthcare (2-8 yrs)
Job Description
Roles and responsibilities:
- An optometrist is an eye doctor who has earned the Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree.
- Optometrists examine eyes for both vision and health problems, and correct refractive errors by prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses. Some optometrists also provide low vision care and vision therapy.
Duties :
- Perform vision tests and analyze results
- Diagnose sight problems, such as nearsightedness or farsightedness and eye diseases, such as glaucoma
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications
- Provide treatments such as vision therapy or low-vision rehabilitation
- Provide pre- and postoperative care to patients undergoing eye surgery for example, examining a patients eyes the day after surgery
Eligibility Criteria :
1. Age : 21-49 yrs.
2. Qualification : Candidate should be graduate/diploma holder in relevant field.
3. Experience- Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field.
4. Good communication skills (mandatory)
5. Clients should have sufficient funds to sustain in country. Eg: Real Estate Property, Bank Balance Bank Deposits, Fd, Ppf.
IELTS not mandatory in Hong Kong
Visa duration- 7 years
