Roles and Responsibilities :

- Perform and interpret histopathology examinations, including tissue specimen processing, staining, and microscopic analysis.

- Conduct and evaluate cytopathology examinations, including processing and interpreting cytology specimens such as fine needle aspiration (FNA) samples and body fluid analysis.

- Analyze blood samples using hematology techniques, including complete blood count (CBC), blood smears, and other related tests.

- Oversee and interpret clinical pathology tests, such as urine analysis, biochemistry, microbiology, and serology.

- Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports, ensuring adherence to quality standards and guidelines.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including clinicians, surgeons, and radiologists, to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.

- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expert advice on pathology-related issues.

- Maintain and update knowledge of current research, advancements, and best practices in the field of pathology.

- Comply with all relevant regulatory requirements and enforce safety measures within the laboratory.

- Train and supervise junior staff, including technicians and technologists, to ensure quality and efficient laboratory operations.

- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, such as implementing new laboratory techniques or protocols.

- Actively participate in conferences, seminars, and workshops to enhance professional development.
