Position - Patient Counsellor

Experience - Min 1 Year of Patient Counselling (Must be from Medical Background)

Gender - Male/Female

Location - Mumbai and Bangalore they will required movement to different hospitals, doctor clinics and/or to visit patients place for counselling (based on requests)

Qualification - Qualifications: Science graduate, work exp -should have worked as a patient educator, disease management, patient care executive, good communication & compassion with patients (these are elderly patients majority)

Working days - 6 days working

Working time - 8-9 Hours

Language preference - Fluent in English & Hindi, and regional language (e.g. Kannada)

Dedicated trained Patient Counsellors deputed at Hospitals responsibilities include

- Explaining the patients advised by Physician for TAVR Therapy about the Therapy basics and advantages.

- Encouraging the patients to learn in detail about TAVR Therapy by visiting the microsite/ QR code accessible at kiosks displayed in Hospitals for TAVR Therapy awareness.

- Explaining the benefits available on enrolment for TAVR Therapy.

- Assisting the interested patients in completing the enrolment formalities on TAVR microsite /QR registration with patient's consent, at the Hospital desk and tagging the Patient with his / her respective physician.

- Post enrolment of patients, offering the patients the following services at no additional cost to let them take informed decision on TAVR:

- Educating the patients on TAVR Therapy by navigating them on microsite on TAVR.

- Making the patient experience the TAVR procedure by use of virtual reality at Medtronic Valve clinics.

- Assist the patients in scheduling an appointment with the Physicians for consultation (remote/ personal visit)on Aortic Stenosis. The consultation fee for the Physicians shall be directly paid by the patient.

- The counsellors will be trained by MDT TAVI field team. They will also be provided resources, documents and FAQs to equip them for this role. The counsellors should not actively sell MDT products to the patients or caregivers. Discussions should happen at a therapy level and guide patients towards available treatment options.
