Pediatrician - Healthcare - MBBS (5-10 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties
- Provide comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and adolescents (0-18 years)
- Conduct routine health check-ups, immunizations, and developmental assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic paediatric conditions
- Manage paediatric emergencies and coordinate with ICU for critical care cases
- Perform minor paediatric procedures and interpret diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with laboratory and radiology services for paediatric diagnostics
Patient Care
- Deliver compassionate, family-centred paediatric care
- Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and young patients
- Provide health education and preventive care guidance to families
- Ensure age-appropriate care delivery and comfort measures
- Participate in patient care rounds and multidisciplinary consultations
Emergency & Critical Care
Amalgamated Plantations Pvt. Ltd.
- Provide emergency paediatric care and stabilization
- Manage paediatric admissions and coordinate with ICU team when required
- Respond to paediatric emergencies transported via BLS ambulance service
- Work with visiting specialists for complex paediatric cases
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Adhere to NABH certification standards and hospital protocols
- Maintain compliance with SA8000 social accountability standards
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and peer reviews
- Ensure infection control protocols specific to paediatric care
Health Promotion & Education
- Conduct community health programs focused on child health
- Provide guidance on nutrition, growth, and development
- Educate families on preventive healthcare measures
- Participate in continuing medical education programs
