Personal Care Assistant - Home Health Care

Job Description:

As a Caregiver at Citraverse, you will play a pivotal role in providing personalized care and companionship to elderly individuals in the comfort of their homes. We are seeking smart, young women and men who possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and deep compassion for others. Successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive training program for two months. Upon successful completion of the training program, caregivers will be placed at client's homes to deliver exceptional care as Personal Care Assistants.

Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care assistance to elderly clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing and toilet needs if needed.

- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.

- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and instructions.

- Assist with feeding if required.

- Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.

- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times.

- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the designated care coordinator.

- Accompanying clients on outings and medical appointments.

- Engaging clients in conversing and walks.

- Assist clients in physical therapy exercises.

- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure coordinated care delivery.

- Update daily checklist of the client.

- Identify red flags and inform the healthcare provider/family.

Requirements:

- Willing to work as Personal Care Assistant as a live in carer in a home care setup.

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in caregiving is a plus.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient demeanor towards elderly individuals.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

- Physical stamina and strength to perform caregiving tasks, including lifting and assisting with mobility.

- Basic knowledge of first aid is desirable.

- Willingness to undergo background checks and provide references.
