PhableCare - Medical Coder - B.Pharma/M.Pharma/MBBS (0-1 yrs)
Medical coders play a vital role in the connection between Doctors (healthcare provider) and Patients.
We're looking for an exceptional medical coder to join our fast-growing team. This position requires extreme diligence and care as you will be dealing with treatment plans of the patients and their medical records. A candidate with exceptional aptitude, logical ability and medical knowledge would fit right in.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Transcribe medical records of the patients
- Work closely with the founders and doctors to digitize medical records.
- Interact with physicians and assistants to ensure accuracy of the patient records.
- Work as part of an Agile team to meet time and quality standards.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and information security.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Excellent communication skills
- Good knowledge of medical jargons and drug names
- Strong ability to comprehend medical documents & prescriptions
- Familiarity with ICD-9/10 codes and procedures
EDUCATION :
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm / MBBS
