Job Role :

We are looking for an experienced and mature pharmacist who has experience in dispensing medicine to the customers as per the physician's prescription. The person also needs to do the billing for the medicine, collect the payment, maintain inventory, keep record of patient's records, inform the patient's about any side effects of the medicines etc. The Pharmacist must be open to be work in different timings during the day as per the requirements from the pharmacy.

Job Description :

1) Dispense the medicines, tablets, fluids, injections, disposables, medical devices etc as per the prescription from the physician

2) Bill the medicines dispensed and collect payments

3) Record all pharmacy transactions and keeping cash registers up-to-date

4) Review prescriptions to assure accuracy prior to dispensing of medicines

5) Contact referring physicians offices with any clarifications over prescription if required

6) Provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage to patients as needed

7) Indent pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, and drugs from central store; maintain stock, store and handle it properly, verify stock and assume responsibility in case of any variation

8) Continually keep a track of expiry status and batch number for the medicines in the pharmacy and compare it with the bill entry

9) Keep records of patient history and of all activities regarding heavy medication

10) Protect the integrity of the pharmacy by keeping all pharmacy and patient-related information confidential

11) Submission of related MIS report to the Management on a daily basis

12) Stock check at the end of the month is necessary

13) Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations and procedures

14) Job has 3 separate shifts starting from 08:00 am, 09:00 am and 02:00 pm and shift end timing will be till 03:00 pm, 06:00 pm and 10:00 pm respectively.

Skills :

1) Graduate or Post-Graduate from Pharmacy backgroud is mandatory

2) Candidate with previous experience of working as a pharmacist in a general pharmacy or hospital pharmacy is mandatory

3) Candidates who can join immediately would be preferred

4) Minimum 1 to 3 Years experience as an Pharmacist/Chemist on paper like offer letter, relieving letter, appraisal letter etc [MANDATORY EXPERIENCE]

5) Good communication in English & Kannada must, along with knowledge of Hindi and any other South Indian regional language

6) Good at handling cash, record keeping and maintaining inventory/stock

7) Candidate must be open to working in different timings during the day at the pharmacy based on the management discretion

8) Able to single-handedly take care and ensure smooth running of the pharmacy

9) Candidate must be dedicated towards work
