Job Description:

We at PharmEasy are looking for a Medical Reviewer to ensure the accuracy, credibility, and reliability of healthcare content across platforms. In this role, you will review, validate, and improve medical content including articles, blogs, medicine pages, social media posts, and patient education materials.

You will work closely with the content team to ensure all published information is scientifically accurate, evidence-based, and aligned with current medical guidelines. The role also involves creating and updating content, maintaining quality standards, and supporting strategic content initiatives. You will work with our social media team for content creation across all channels. You will also be responsible for owning monthly content outcomes and ensuring high editorial and scientific standards across all healthcare content published on the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review medical content, blogs, medicine pages, and other healthcare materials to ensure scientific accuracy and updated information.

- Validate medical facts using credible sources such as clinical guidelines, medical journals, research publications, and drug databases.

- Stay updated with legal and ethical guidelines for health content -Drugs and Magic Remedies Act, Drugs and Cosmetics Act etc.

- Perform quality checks to maintain consistency, accuracy, and reliability of all published content.

- Own the quality and output of healthcare writers, providing guidance, feedback, and medical validation to ensure accuracy and clarity across all content.

- Translate complex medical terminology into clear, patient-friendly language while maintaining medical accuracy.

- Write, edit, and update healthcare articles based on the latest developments in medicine, diagnostics, and therapeutics.

- Act as a medical advisor on cross-functional projects involving content, marketing, product, and design teams.

- Coordinate with freelance writers, agencies, and external consultants to maintain quality and timelines.

- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and help develop content strategies that improve reach, engagement, and user trust.

- Participate in patient awareness initiatives including educational videos, webinars, and live sessions when required.

Experience:

- 2-5 years of experience in medical content review, medical writing, healthcare communication, or related roles.

- This is a full-time content-focused role, and candidates actively practicing medicine are not preferred.

Educational Qualification

- MCI / NMC Registered MBBS

- MBBS with MD or PhD preferred

Skills:

- Strong understanding of medicine, clinical applications, diagnostics, pharmacology, and evidence-based advancements in healthcare.

- Experience reviewing and validating medical content for scientific accuracy and reliability from credible sources.

- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong command over English and Hindi, including grammar and medical terminology. Ability to simplify medical jargon to user friendly language.

- Ability to work effectively with content teams, medical experts, and external contributors.

- Ability to manage multiple content projects and meet deadlines.

- Confidence to participate in videos, educational sessions, and patient awareness initiatives.
