Job Summary:

The 2D Echo Technician is responsible for performing echocardiography and Doppler studies to assess cardiac function and structure. The role involves acquiring high-quality cardiac images, assisting cardiologists during procedures, ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment, and generating accurate diagnostic reports.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform 2D echocardiography, Doppler studies, and related cardiac imaging procedures.

- Acquire, analyze, and document high-quality cardiac images for diagnosis.

- Assist cardiologists during echocardiography procedures and interventional diagnostics.

- Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and calibration of echo equipment.

- Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures.

- Maintain detailed and accurate records of studies and reports.

- Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control, and safety standards.

- Stay updated on advancements in echocardiography techniques and technology.

Qualification & Experience:

- Diploma/Certificate in Echocardiography, Cardiac Technology, or related allied health field.

- B.Sc. in Medical Imaging / Cardiac Care Technology (preferred).

- 0- 2 years experience in echocardiography preferred; freshers with training can apply.

- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, Doppler studies, and patient care protocols.
