Job Description:
Platinum Hospital Pvt Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Engineer with hands-on experience in managing and maintaining critical hospital equipment. The role demands installation, calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting of medical devices such as ventilators, defibrillators, anesthesia machines, dialysis systems, and patient monitoring units. The engineer will ensure equipment uptime and patient safety through regular checks, calibration, and prompt technical support.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration as per OEM guidelines.
- Troubleshoot breakdowns in ICU, OT, Cath Lab, and Emergency areas.
- Maintain equipment logs, service history, and AMC/Warranty records.
- Ensure biomedical safety standards and compliance with NABH/JCI protocols.
- Support procurement with technical specifications and vendor evaluations.
- Train hospital staff in safe handling of biomedical equipment.
Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering.
- 4- 5 years of hospital-based biomedical engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical systems in medical devices.
