Platinum Hospital - Cardiothoracic Surgeon - MBBS/MS/MD/MCh/DNB (1-7 yrs)
Job Summary:
A Cardiothoracic Surgeon is responsible for performing surgical procedures on the heart, lungs, esophagus, and other organs within the chest. The role involves diagnosing conditions, planning and executing complex surgeries, and providing pre- and post-operative care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with cardiac and thoracic conditions
Perform surgeries such as:
- Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)
- Valve repair or replacement
- Lung resections
- Heart and lung transplants
- Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and healthcare teams
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Monitor patient recovery and manage complications
- Maintain accurate patient records and surgical reports
- Stay updated with advancements in cardiothoracic surgery techniques
Required Qualifications:
- MBBS degree (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)
- MS/MD in General Surgery
- MCh/DNB in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS)
- Valid medical license to practice
- Board certification (preferred)
