Platinum Hospital - CathLab Nurse - Satya Sai Platinum Hospital (0-3 yrs)
Assist cardiologists and technicians during invasive procedures such as:
- Coronary angiography
- Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
- Pacemaker and ICD implantation
- Electrophysiology studies
- Prepare patients for procedures, including obtaining consent, monitoring vitals, and positioning.
- Administer prescribed medications and contrast agents under physician supervision.
- Monitor and document patient status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
- Maintain sterility and aseptic technique during procedures.
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including ECG, monitors, infusion pumps, and defibrillators.
- Collaborate with the Cath Lab team to handle emergencies and complications during procedures.
- Educate patients and families about post-procedure care and discharge instructions.
- Ensure proper documentation in patient records and hospital information systems.
- Maintain stock, supplies, and cleanliness in the Cath Lab in accordance with infection control protocols.
