Platinum Hospital - Consultant - Anaesthetist (2-5 yrs)
Location: Matoshree Indirabai Baburao Sarnaik MBMC Hospital, Mira Road East, Mira Bhayandar, Maharashtra
Position: Full-Time Consultant Anaesthetist
Salary: - 2,00,000 - - 3,50,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
About the Hospital:
Matoshree Indirabai Baburao Sarnaik MBMC Hospital is a 100-bed super-specialty hospital managed by Platinum Hospitals Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC). The hospital provides free healthcare services across multiple specialties, including cardiology, neurology, oncology, general surgery, urology, orthopedics, and critical care.
To strengthen our anesthesia and perioperative care services, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Anaesthetist to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures across different specialties, including cardiac, neuro, orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, and trauma cases.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery to ensure safe anesthesia management.
- Work closely with surgeons, intensivists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Handle critical care, pain management, and emergency interventions as required.
- Supervise and train junior anaesthetists, residents, and OT staff on best anesthesia practices.
- Ensure strict adherence to patient safety protocols and ICU/OT guidelines.
- Maintain accurate medical records, anesthesia notes, and patient reports as per hospital policies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MD/DNB/DA in Anaesthesiology from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Consultant Anaesthetist in a multispecialty hospital.
- Experience in handling high-risk and complex surgeries.
- Expertise in epidural, spinal, and regional blocks is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in advanced airway management and critical care interventions.
- Strong teamwork, decision-making, and leadership skills.
