Platinum Hospital - Consultant - Surgical Oncologist - Freedom Fighter Hakim Ajmal Khan TMC Hospital (3-5 yrs)
Qualification - MCh/DNB in Surgical Oncology
Surgical Management & Clinical Duties
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic oncologic surgeries across various organ systems (e.g., breast, gastrointestinal, head & neck, soft tissue, gynecologic).
- Evaluate and assess cancer patients for surgical intervention.
- Plan and execute complex cancer surgeries with a focus on precision, safety, and outcomes.
- Manage preoperative and postoperative care, including surgical complications.
- Coordinate with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and radiologists for multidisciplinary treatment planning.
Patient Communication & Counseling
- Provide clear and compassionate consultations on surgical options, risks, and benefits.
- Educate patients and families about surgical procedures, expected outcomes, and recovery plans.
- Support patients throughout their cancer journey with empathy and professionalism.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain detailed, timely, and accurate medical and surgical records.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control, and ethical guidelines.
- Participate in tumor boards and contribute to evidence-based treatment discussions
