Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat urological conditions such as kidney stones, urinary tract infections, incontinence, and cancers of the urinary tract.
- Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures including cystoscopies, prostate surgeries, and laparoscopic interventions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including imaging and lab studies.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on best clinical practices.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, management, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with HIPAA and hospital standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency consults.
- Stay updated with the latest medical advancements and technologies in urology.
