Qualification - Diploma/Certification as a CSSD Technician (CRCST, CBSPD, or equivalent preferred).
Job Description:
- Perform decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Inspect, assemble, and package instruments following established guidelines.
- Operate and maintain autoclaves, sterilizers, and other CSSD equipment.
- Monitor sterilization cycles and document sterilization records accurately.
- Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and restock as needed.
- Work closely with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to hospital and regulatory standards.
