Platinum Hospital - Lab Technician - Satya Sai Platinum Hospital (1-3 yrs)
- Collect and label blood, urine, stool, sputum, and other biological specimens from patients.
- Conduct a wide range of tests including hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, serology, and clinical pathology.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as analyzers, centrifuges, and microscopes.
- Accurately record and analyze test results and report findings to medical staff or enter into hospital information systems (HIS/LIS).
- Prepare reagents, slide preparations, and specimens for examination.
- Ensure proper calibration, cleaning, and sterilization of lab instruments.
- Follow standard protocols for sample handling, storage, and disposal of biohazardous waste.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date laboratory records and documentation.
- Adhere to quality control standards and participate in internal and external quality assurance programs.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines regarding lab safety and infection control.
