Job Title: OT Assistant

Location: Platinum Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Kalwa, Thane

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated OT Assistant to support surgeons and nursing staff in the operation theatre. The role involves preparing the OT, assisting during surgical procedures, and ensuring adherence to infection control and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and sterilize OT instruments, equipment, and surgical sets.

- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during operations.

- Ensure proper patient positioning and draping as per surgical requirements.

- Maintain aseptic conditions in the OT and follow infection control protocols.

- Handle surgical instruments, sponges, and consumables efficiently.

- Ensure availability of required equipment and materials before procedures.

- Support in shifting patients pre- and post-surgery with care.

- Maintain records of instruments, consumables, and OT stock.

- Coordinate with the OT nursing team and report any equipment malfunction.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Diploma/Certification in OT Technician/Assistant or relevant field.

- Prior experience in OT assistance preferred (Fresher can apply).

- Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilization procedures.

- Strong understanding of infection control and patient safety.

- Good communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
