Platinum Hospital - OT Scrub Nurse - Matoshree Indirabai Baburao Sarnaik Hospital (1-3 yrs)
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical procedures.
- Select and check all necessary surgical instruments and equipment before procedures.
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, sutures, and other sterile supplies.
- Count instruments, sponges, and needles before and after surgery with circulating nurse.
- Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, supplies used, and any issues encountered.
- Monitor and enforce strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow during operations.
- Handle and label surgical specimens correctly.
- Assist in positioning and draping patients.
- Dispose of surgical waste appropriately.
- Participate in the cleaning and restocking of the operating room post-surgery.
- Communicate effectively with all members of the surgical team.
- Stay updated on new surgical techniques, procedures, and equipment.
