Platinum Hospital - Perfusionist (1-3 yrs)
- Prepare and operate heart-lung machines, oxygenator, and related equipment during cardiac surgeries.
- Monitor and control circulatory and metabolic parameters, including oxygenation, carbon dioxide removal, and acid- base balance.
- Select and prepare appropriate fluids and medication for the perfusion process.
- Handle perfusion techniques for a range of procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafts, valve repairs, and transplant surgeries.
- Monitor patient's vital signs and respond promptly to abnormalities.
- Provide perfusion services during emergencies or shock cases if required.
- Perform proper maintenance and calibration of perfusion equipment.
- Prepare reports and documents related to the procedure for patient's medical records.
- Support the surgical team by applying specialized knowledge and expertise.
- Stay updated with advances in perfusion technology and practices through continuing education.
