Platinum Hospital - Pharmacist (1-3 yrs)
1. Dispensing Medications & Patient Counseling
- Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, legality, and potential drug interactions.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.
- Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications and over-the-counter remedies.
2. Medication Management & Safety Compliance
- Ensure medications are stored properly and within expiry dates.
- Monitor for adverse drug reactions and report any issues.
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Implement infection control and safety procedures.
3. Collaboration & Healthcare Support
- Work with doctors and nurses to recommend appropriate drug therapies.
- Adjust medication plans based on patient needs and test results.
- Educate healthcare staff on new medications and treatment guidelines.
4. Inventory & Record Management
- Manage pharmacy stock levels and place medication orders when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient medication records and documentation.
- Ensure proper disposal of expired or unused drugs.
5. Continuous Education & Training
- Stay updated on the latest drug developments and pharmaceutical research.
- Attend workshops and training sessions to enhance expertise.
- Train pharmacy assistants and junior staff.
