Platinum Hospital - Resident Medical Officer - ICU - Freedom Fighter Hakim Ajmal Khan TMC Hospital (1-3 yrs)
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Perform initial assessment and documentation upon patient admission.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., blood work, imaging, ABGs).
- Initiate emergency resuscitative procedures (CPR, intubation, etc.) when required.
- Assist consultants in procedures such as central line insertion, endotracheal intubation, etc.
- Administer medications and fluids as per protocols or consultant instructions.
- Monitor ventilators and other life-supporting equipment.
- Respond promptly to changes in a patient's condition.
- Update patient progress notes and medical records regularly.
- Communicate with patient families regarding condition updates (as directed by the consultant).
- Ensure adherence to infection control policies and ICU protocols.
- Coordinate with diagnostic departments and support services.
