- Conduct daily ward rounds and monitor the progress of admitted patients.
- Assess, diagnose, and initiate treatment plans as per consultant guidance.
- Document medical history, physical examination findings, treatment orders, and progress notes accurately in patient records.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, code blues, and deterioration in patient conditions.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, diagnostic services, and consultants for effective patient care.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed.
- Ensure timely execution of investigations (e.g., lab tests, imaging) and review results.
- Provide clinical support during procedures and surgeries as needed.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and prognosis.
- Ensure all clinical activities are conducted in line with hospital policies and medical ethics.
- Maintain accurate records for discharge summaries, referrals, and transfers.
