Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and assist radiologists in accurate reporting. The ideal candidate should be technically sound, patient-friendly, and safety-conscious.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate X-ray machines and other radiology equipment
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate imaging records and reports
- Ensure radiation safety protocols are strictly followed
- Assist doctors/radiologists in image interpretation when required
- Maintain and calibrate equipment regularly
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Certificate in X-Ray/Radiography Technician
- Registration with relevant state/parastatal council (if applicable)
- Good understanding of imaging techniques and radiation safety
- Basic computer skills
