Experience Required: Minimum 1–3 years (Freshers with RSO certification can also apply)
Job Description:
- A reputed multispecialty hospital in Himachal Pradesh is seeking a qualified and experienced RSO (Radiation Safety Officer) – Nuclear Medicine professional. The ideal candidate will ensure radiation safety compliance and oversee the operation of nuclear medicine equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise radiation safety protocols in the Nuclear Medicine department.
- Ensure compliance with AERB guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage radioactive materials and waste.
- Train and guide staff on radiation protection measures.
- Maintain radiation monitoring records and documentation.
- Support diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
Qualifications:
- M.Sc in Nuclear Medicine / Medical Physics OR DNB / MD in Nuclear Medicine
- Valid RSO certification (approved by AERB)
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards
- Good coordination and reporting skills
