Registered Nursing Staff - GNM/B.Sc (2-4 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
- Patient Care : Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the NICU or PICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Medication Administration : Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician's orders, ensuring accurate dosage and patient safety.
- Monitoring : Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and progress, and promptly report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Patient and Family Education : Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment plans, and the importance of health maintenance.
- Collaboration : Work collaboratively with physicians, fellow nurses, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Advocacy : Serve as an advocate for the best interests of pediatric patients, ensuring their rights and needs are respected and met.
- Infection Control : Adhere to strict infection control protocols to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
- Emotional Support : Provide emotional support to patients and their families, recognizing the stress and emotional challenges associated with pediatric healthcare.
Qualifications :
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a GNM or BSc in Nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Years of nursing experience, with a proven track record of working with pediatric patients in NICU or PICU settings.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is preferred.
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
