Scrub Nurse - Healthcare/Pharma (2-8 yrs)
Job Description :
- During surgery, the scrub nurse assists the surgeon by passing instruments -- such as scalpels and re tractors or supplies -- such as pads and sponges -- to the surgeon.
- This is more demanding than it sounds. The nurse must be knowledgeable enough to follow the progress of the procedure and anticipate the surgeon's needs, having the correct items available immediately when requested.
- The scrub nurse also maintains a count of pads and sponges used in the procedure, and verifies that the correct number are also removed from the patient. When necessary, the scrub nurse requests additional instruments or supplies from the circulating team members.
- Scrub nurses, also called perioperative nurses, are registered nurses who assist in surgical procedures by setting up the room before the operation, working with the doctor during surgery and preparing the patient for the move to the recovery room.
Eligibility criteria :
1. Age : 21-51 yrs.
2. Qualification : Candidate should be graduate/diploma holder in relevant field.
3. Experience - Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field.
4. Good communication skills (mandatory)
5. Clients should have sufficient funds to sustain in country. Eg: Real Estate Property, Bank Balance Bank Deposits, FD, PPF.
