Job Title: Executive/Senior Executive-Quality Control

Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control professional to oversee and manage quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities across ongoing projects in the water/wastewater treatment industry. The role involves coordination with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Review project specifications and advise the Application and Project teams on QA/QC requirements.

- Develop and submit Project-Specific Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) in line with tender specifications.

- Prepare and submit Quality Procedures, Manufacturing Procedures, and related documents per customer protocol.

- Draft and qualify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ).

- Coordinate inspections: Raise inspection notifications, engage with vendors and clients, and arrange for customer witness inspections (e.g., Chembond).

- Conduct and witness in-process, stage, and final inspections per the approved ITPs.

- Ensure timely preparation and submission of project QA/QC documentation and final Manufacturing Record Books.

- Liaise with suppliers to ensure contract-compliant QA/QC document submissions.

Inspection Responsibilities:

- Storage Tanks: Carbon Steel (CS), Stainless Steel (SS) - per ASME Section VIII Div. 1.

- Non-Metallic Tanks: FRP, HDPE.

- Piping Systems: Metallic (ASME B31.3), Non-metallic (CPVC, HDPE), components, fittings, and valves.

- Rotating Equipment: Centrifugal pumps, dosing pumps, blowers, agitators.

- Package Equipment: Chemical dosing packages, chlorination units, cooling water treatment systems, ETP, STP, WTP skids.

- Electrical Equipment: Low-voltage motors, control panels, junction boxes, PLCs.

- Coatings & Linings: Painting, coating, rubber lining inspections.

- Instrumentation: Flow meters, pressure and level instruments, analyzers, transmitters. 

Site Support:

- Provide support for on-site QA/QC activities, including Field ITPs, subcontractor welder qualifications, test procedures, and resolving QC-related site issues.

- Conduct site visits as required and ensure compliance with approved QA/QC protocols.

Qualification & Skill Requirements:

- Quality engineer with level 1/level 2 certification

- 3-5 years of relevant QA/QC experience in industrial or infrastructure projects, preferably in the water/wastewater sector.

- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, ASTM, ISO, etc.).

- Certification in NDT, Welding Inspection, or QA/QC (e.g., CSWIP, AWS, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) is preferred.

- Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
