Job Description:
The Senior Lecturer in Prosthodontics will be responsible for teaching, training, and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate dental students, with a focus on fixed, removable, maxillofacial prosthodontics, and implantology. The role involves contributing to academic development, research, clinical practice, and institutional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, pre-clinical, and clinical demonstrations in Prosthodontics.
- Supervise and guide students in laboratory and clinical settings.
- Assist in curriculum development and continuous improvement of teaching methods.
- Actively participate in student assessment, examination, and feedback.
- Provide clinical services to patients in the Prosthodontics department.
- Engage in departmental research, publications, and conferences.
- Contribute to institutional committees, community outreach, and professional development programs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- MDS in Prosthodontics from a DCI-recognized institution.
- Teaching and clinical experience (minimum 3 years post-MDS preferred).
- Strong knowledge of modern prosthodontic techniques including digital workflows.
- Evidence of research, publications, and academic contributions desirable.
