Job Description

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Before Surgery

- Recovery nurses work with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical nurses to prepare patients for surgery.

- Recovery nurses are expected to record vital signs, instruct patients on the details of the procedures and administer intravenous therapy and medication.

- They help doctors transfer patients to the operating room, and may be asked to clean wounds, sterilize equipment and make sure patients' rooms are ready for their arrival.

- Recovery nurses also communicate with loved ones and inform them of patients' conditions.

After Surgery :

After surgery, recovery nurses are patients primary care givers. They monitor their vital signs, clean bandages and comfort patients when they wake up from anesthesia.

- Recovery nurses administer tests, analyze lab results and report back to surgeons and doctors. They track the progress of patients' conditions, and ensure patients receive adequate rest, food, fluids and nutrients

- Recovery nurses teach patients how to clean their bandages, take medication and care for themselves after they leave the hospital.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

1. Age: 21-51 yrs.

2. Qualification: Candidate should be graduate/diploma holder in relevant field.

3. Experience- Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field.

4. Good communication skills (mandatory)

5. Clients should have sufficient funds to sustain in country. Eg: Real Estate Property, Bank Balance Bank Deposits, FD, PPF.

- IELTS not mandatory in Hongkong

Visa duration- 7 years
