Experience : 6to 10 years in mid-sized R&D driven companies with presence in Regulated, ROW & Emerging markets.

Role :

- Hands on experience in Wellness Product, Nutraceutical Supplements and Food Fortification.

- Lead product development process of all nutraceutical range and plan including timely development of bench - top prototypes, stability study, scale up and commercialization.

- Design trials for new products, literature search for nutra products, write SOPs, train operating teams, provide supervision to subordinates and monitor outcome of trials.

- 3-5 years of commercial experience in the formulation of dietary supplement and functional foods, preferably involving a variety of dosage and product forms, including Tea, Coffee, Capsules, health supplement drink, Wellness RTD, Powdered drink mixes, Nutrition bars and preferably involving formulations for both domestic and international markets.

- Responsible for bringing innovative new products with nutraceutical fortification from a wellness perspective.

- Responsible for all analytical testing required during product development, such as nutrient content, RDA value and contaminant analyses, micro testing and stability studies.

- Develop and review design prototypes, perform tests and finalize product design to facilitate mass production.

- Lab and pilot scale trials and prototype generation

- Analyze new components, materials, and technologies to evaluate functionalities for all new product development.

- Preparation of technical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and with the company's new product development process.

- Good understanding of raw material (Tea, Coffee, Spices, Herbs, Flavour) specifications and creation of SOPs.

- Work closely with Quality, Flavour Houses & Vendors to explore innovative solutions to innovate and renovate the product matrix as per productivity initiative for business needs.

- High level understanding of Packaging and labelling requirement with product claim in accordance to regulatory (Tea Board India, FSSAI, FDA)

- Technical support to cross functional department
