Train/Air Ambulance Doctor - Healthcare - MBBS (2-5 yrs)
Medical Responsibilities
- Provide in-transit medical care and continuous monitoring of patients during train and air transfers (bed-to-bed).
- Perform pre-transfer assessment, stabilization, and ongoing medical management during travel.
- Coordinate with EMTs, nurses, and hospital teams to ensure seamless transfer and proper handover.
- Counsel patients and family members prior to initiating the transfer regarding risks and possible complications.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including consents and the Red Health Passport, along with detailed medical reports for all cases.
- Maintain log records of cases and ensure completion of all documentation checklists.
- Provide medical assistance in train and air transfer cases as and when required.
Operational & Training Responsibilities
- Visit hospitals and engage with doctors and hospital management to promote Red.Health’s services, with a focus on train and air ambulance transfers.
- Generate train and air transfer enquiries and support expansion of service reach within the assigned region.
- Train Sales Teams and EMTs on train and air transfer protocols, case management, medical readiness, and documentation completeness.
- Ensure strict compliance with Red.Health’s operational and clinical protocols during transfers.
Qualification & Experience
- MBBS degree from a recognized university (MCI/NMC registered).
- 2–5 years of experience in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, or Pre-Hospital Care preferred.
- Experience in ICU settings, air transfers, train transfers, or ambulance-based services is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in emergency and critical care procedures (BLS/ACLS certification preferred).
- Proficiency in emergency procedures including intubation, sedation management, and ventilator handling.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to make quick and sound clinical decisions under pressure.
- Strong training, mentoring, and leadership abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
