Transformative Learning Solutions Pvt Ltd. is a growing, international e-commerce company involved in offering research backed authentic Ayurveda products to the west. The company's Iyura brand of products, among others has been well-received by the western users and has reached several thousand homes. At present the company has cosmetic products based on classical formulations and manufacturing processes. The company is looking forward to expanding its product range of cosmetics and venture into foods and herbal supplements (the form in which herbal formulations can be sold in the west) and to augment the safety and efficacy of its existing products. For this the company is looking for both fresh and experienced( even senior), research oriented, Ayurveda MD/Phd doctors in the field of Ras shastra and Bhaishajya kalpna or Bhaishajya kalpana only, for its Delhi centre. The job engagement is full time and in this role, you'll work in a team environment alongside knowledgeable professionals in Pharmacology, Ayurveda, and third party manufacturers, Labs, CROs at various locations in India. The job may require you to travel 2-3 times in a month to our manufacturers' facilities, CROs and Lab facilities alongwith other team members or independently.

Responsibilities and Duties :

- To work in close association with the manufacturers to ensure Q/C, Q/A and compliance with the GMP norms.

- To supervise batch production off and on and suggest the doctors and workers at the facility on any change required in the current manufacturing SOPs of oils, ghritas and lepas if required.

- To work in association with in-house Pharmacology experts to develop new safe and effective products and help the team to chart out invitro (preclinical) and Clinical studies.

- Coordinate with the labs to cross-check the finished products at our end on safety parameters as per international laws and match the results with those provided by the manufacturers and to pass the batches accordingly.

- Maintenance of all records related to the products like lab reports, SOPs of every batch in coordination with the manufacturers and ensure that the manufacturer is also maintaining the records properly.

- To do literature search on the ingredients and to document them.

- To coordinate with the CRO's and the research institution to plan and initiate the clinical trials and to ensure that they are done as per the ICH guidelines.

- To look into the product complaints and work towards their rectification through investigation at all levels in coordination with the in house team of Ayurvedic doctors and Pharma professionals.

- To create product monographs in association with the in-house team.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

- MD/Phd Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalapana / Bhaishajya Kalpana/ BAMS with experience in manufacturing.

- 5 or more years of experience in manufacturing of Ayurvedic medicines in general and Taila and Ghritams in particular. Freshers who have experience of manufacturing Oils and Ghritams in college pharmacy can also be considered.

- Familiarity with GMP norms and research methodology and clinical trials is must. Any experience in these fields will be an added advantage.

- Scientific bent of mind with a keen desire to learn and explore will be an added advantage.

- A fair command on English language apart from understanding the Sanskrit texts in classics will be preferable.

- Awareness of U.S. FDA laws, ICH guidelines and other compliances applicable on export of herbal products to USA, Canada, Australia and Europe will be an added advantage but is not compulsory.

- Keen interest in research, clinical applications of Ayurvedic formulations, writing research papers/ research articles will be highly appreciated and will be an added advantage during the interview.
