Job Title : Phlebotomist
Educational Qualification - Should have done BSC MLT or DMLT or GNM or BSC Nursing.
Job Responsibilities :
- Preparing patients before drawing blood .
- Explaining blood draw procedures to patients and answering any questions about the process
- Transporting blood samples to the laboratory for testing.
- Collecting blood samples and labelling the vials with the patients' names and the dates.
- Having good communication skills and have good lab practices knowledge
- Following all health and safety protocols and procedures
- Knowledge of proper handling techniques and disposal policies.
- Gathering medical testing materials, including needles, sample vials, blood storage bags and test tubes
- Verifying patient information and labeling blood samples properly
- Accurately updating patient information in the organizations database
- Helping nervous or frightened patients remain calm during blood draws
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Data entry and computer skills & Tech savvy
- Strong attention to detail
- Should have own bike with Valid Drivers License & Smart phone.
