About the Role :

As an Executive (Botanist), you will be responsible for sampling and testing of herbs and finished products as per SOP and specifications, handling of HPTLC equipment, release of products in SAP, documentation, and other lab work assigned by Manager QC. You will report to the Manager QC and work in the Quality Control department.

Job Responsibilities :

- Sampling and testing of herbs (pre-purchase & consignment) as per SOP and specifications

- Testing of finished products (Mother tinctures, dispensing alcohols, 3X dilutions, liquid specialties)

- Preparation of in-house specifications of pH, mobile phases for TLC in MT.

- Inspection of approved herbs twice in a year

- Handling of HPTLC equipment (Desaga, camag)

- Release of products in SAP- herbs, MT, Dispensing alcohol, Liquid specialties etc.

- Documentation

- Other lab work assigned by Manager QC

- Supervision of lab cleaning

Job Requirements :

- Education: M. Sc. Botany

- Total Experience: 2to 4 years

- Exposure: Testing of herbs and finished products

- Skills: Knowledge of HPTLC, SAP, SOPs, specifications, documentation

- Attributes: Attention to detail, accuracy, teamwork, communication
