Roles and Responsibilities:

- To provide proper care and help and understand the patients state of mind.

- Help the patient deal with the symptoms, memory and language training.

- Help patients and families reduce emotional distress, enhance communication among patients, families and oncologists, reduce treatment's side effects and improve patients' quality of life.

- Assess patient progress and modify treatment programs accordingly; communicate with and counsel family members as appropriate.

- Document therapy in accordance with policies and procedures regarding medical records; implement and adhere to policies which ensure patient confidentiality.

- Provides crisis intervention in situations requiring immediate psychological treatment.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelors/ Masters degree in Psychology. Candidates having a PhD (in any field) or PsyD degree in Clinical Psychology/ Psycho - Oncology will be preferred

- 2+ years of relevant experience in Cancer Care

- Excellent communication skills

- Enthusiastic and willing to work with start-ups
